an ongoing story

while walking the dog down a wooded path, she came across a bone and lay down to chew on it. I walked slightly up the path and sat under a tree to wait. as I sat, the wind blew, and leaves fell all around me. I felt an occassional drop of rain on my face. after a time, the dog finished chewing & ran toward me. we continued down the path where we saw new deer tracks in the ground.

another thing..

as I stood on a cold night, gazing up at the stars in the midnight sky, I could think only of one thing.

one day in mexico, this happened...

something else unexpected..

while sitting under a tree, I watched a bee fly from tiny white flower to tiny white flower. nearby several moths were doing the same thing. I heard a rustling sound behind me. I turned to watch as a red, orange and green leaf fell from the top of a tree to the ground beneath. it hit several branches as it fell.

on another day in the back yard, this happened...
